WHY CHOOSE MY LITTLE MANTRA?

Our inspirationTo adorn mind, body, and spirit; weaving adornment with intention.

Our values: We believe in the power of reciprocity as the most effective way to heal both ourselves and the planet. By healing Self, we are able to relate to the natural world in a deeper, integrated and more connected way. My Little Mantra is rooted in the belief that by connecting to silence through meditation and living with deliberate intention, we become still enough to remember that we are intricately woven into all of existence. Reciprocity with the earth happens from this space.

Our quality: Our jewelry is minimal but powerful and hand-crafted in the mystical mountains of Sintra, Portugal. Our gemstone beads are a curated collection of quality, beauty, and power.

Giving back: We work with grassroots organizations devoted to having an impact in their field for the betterment of the planet and her inhabitants. Our donations are made with utmost gratitude for the dedicated work they are doing.

WHAT ARE MALA BEADS?

Traditionally, Mala beads are meditation tools used by sages, yogis, and spiritual seekers for thousands of years. A mala (Sanskrit:माला; mālā, meaning garland) is used to count affirmations or recite mantras by chanting, whispering or mental repetition. This practice is known as Japa

Wearing your Mala throughout the day is a beautiful reminder to come back to the present moment, reconnect with your intention, and get an added boost of inspiration from the semi-precious healing stones.

HOW TO CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

When not wearing your jewelry, best practice is to keep your mala in a sealed bag, so the precious metals stay vibrant. If they begin to tarnish, use a polishing cloth to make them shine like new.

We suggest keeping the tassel wrapped in the linen fabric it came with. If the tassel loses form, dip your fingers in water and straighten it out, leaving it hanging to dry. If the ends look frayed, carefully and modestly trim them with shears or sharp scissors.

Treat your mala beads as sacred objects. Keep them on your altar or sacred space. Cleanse your mala regularly with sage or palo santo smoke, the full moon's light, or reiki. You can also keep your mala with other neutralizing stones such as Selenite, Citrine, or Kyanite.
